Samir S. Taneja, MD is James M. Neissa and Janet Riha Neissa Professor of Urologic Oncology, Department of Urology and Professor, Department of Radiology at New York University School of Medicine; and Director, Urologic Oncology at NYU Langone Medical Center. He is a co-author of Complications of Urologic Surgery, 5th Edition.

Dr. Taneja received his medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, after which he completed residencies at UCLA Medical Center. In addition to his positions at NYU School of Medicine and Langone Medical Center, he also serves as Genito-Urologic Program Leader at NYU Perlmutter Cancer Center and is Co-Director, Smilow Comprehensive Prostate Cancer Center.
