Sara E. Hocker, MD is Associate Professor of Neurology, Mayo Clinic College of Medicine; Director, Neurocritical Care Fellowship; Consultant, Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit, Mayo Clinic Hospital, Saint Marys Campus, Rochester, Minnesota. She is a co-author of Simulation in Acute Neurology.
Dr. Hocker received her medical degree from University of Kansas School of Medicine. After an internship and residency at Loyola University & Stritch School of Medicine, she performed a Neurocritical Care Fellowship at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. She is board certified in Neurology and Neurocritical Care.
Dr. Hocker was a recent recipient of the Best Poster award at the 6th London-Innsbruck Colloquium on Status Epilepticus and Acute Seizures, and has received the Mayo Clinic Department of Neurology Faculty Service Award and the Frank A. Rubino Clnical Neurology Award from the Department of Neurology, Loyola University & Stritch School of Medicine. She is the author of more than 60 publications in her field.
