Stephanie Marango, MD, RYT is a physician and educator in bio-energy medicine at New York University. She is a co-author of Netter’s Moving AnatoME: An Interactive Guide to Musculoskeletal Anatomy.
Dr. Marango received her MD with distinction in research from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine of New York University, and trained in Psychiatry at the California Pacific Medical Center. She is a holistic physician, educator, and leader in bio-energy medicine.
In addition to her private practice, Dr. Marango lectures regularly on wellness to health practitioners and students nationwide, and her expertise is cited throughout print and broadcast media like Women’s Health, Well + Good, Fitness, SiriusXM, WABC radio, and WTNH TV. Dr. Marango is also a certified yoga teacher who trains movement professionals in clinical anatomy, and is co-founder of the internationally-renowned Functional Anatomy for Movement and Injuries (FAMI) Workshop, as well as Living AnatoME, an award-winning anatomy curriculum for medical students. She has authored a variety of educational and popular books which have been featured several times on The Dr. Oz Show.
