Judd Landsberg, MD is Clinical Professor of Medicine, University of California San Diego School of Medicine, Section Chief for Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, and Medical Director for Respiratory Therapy, Veterans Administration Medical Center, La Jolla, California. He is the author of Clinical Practice Manual for Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
Dr. Landsberg received his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine, after which he did his residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital and performed a fellowship at the University of California San Diego. He is board certified in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine, and has been listed in San Diego Magazine’s “Top Docs” in both areas.
Dr. Landsberg’s clinical interests include medical education and providing pulmonary and critical care medicine to veterans; his research interests include biomarkers for the diagnosis of sepsis and pneumonia, research bronchoscopy, and pulmonary vascular disease.
The recipient of multiple teaching honors, Dr. Landsberg has been awarded Housestaff Teaching Awards from both Yale University and UCSD, as well as the Kaiser Excellence in Teaching Award from the UCSD School of Medicine.
