Dr. Goldstein earned his MD from Mount Sinai School of Medicine where he is currently a geriatrics and adult medicine professor. He is also an author of the textbook, Evidence-Based Practice of Palliative Medicine.

Dr. Goldstein received his MD from New York University School of Medicine where he is currently a professor of obstetrics & gynecology as well as a private physician. He is co-author of Gynecologic Ultrasound: A Problem-Based Approach.
